We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.
What the nurses can do
Our nurses are trained to provide a wide range of services to patients.
Our nurses work closely with the GPs and manage many areas, including patients with the following conditions:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Diabetes
- Coronary heart disease
- Hypertension
They also deal with contraception, ECGs, vaccinations and weight management. As well as handling minor illnesses, minor injuries and sexual health. When assessing your needs you will be directed to the most appropriate person within the practice.
Antenatal and postnatal care
The midwife team no longer have surgeries at the practice. Please call Medicom on 0300 790 6274 for queries regarding your Antenatal care.
Postnatal appointments are arranged with the doctors, usually in the late morning

Blood tests
We have a qualified phlebotomist and a Healthcare Assistant at the surgery who can offer some blood test appointments. Please contact reception to check availability for appointments.
Patients requiring blood tests can also attend the community hospital.

Family planning
The doctors and nurses provide family planning advice in their normal surgeries.
Family planning services, now called iCASH are also available at 1A Oak street, Norwich NR3 3AE. Please contact them on 0300 300 30 30.
Emergency contraception
- Emergency contraception is available from our nurse or any of the doctors if appropriate
- Emergency contraception needs to be used as soon as possible and within 72 hours
- Emergency contraception can also be obtained from a pharmacy (there will be a charge)
Outside Agencies (based within the surgery)
First Contact Physiotherapy appointments are offered by Pure on a Thursday at the surgery. Please contact Reception to check availability.
MIND Recovery workers can see patients over the age of 14 who are struggling with low to moderate mental health, not currently receiving any other mental health support and when their needs are not clinical. Please contact reception to check appointment availability.
Social prescriber (or link worker) connects you to non-clinical, community based services to support your holistic health and well-being. They can help address practical, social, or emotional needs—such as loneliness, housing worries, debt, or fitness—by referring you to local charities, groups, and activities. Please contact reception to check appointment availability.
