To request a routine appointment in advance during opening times please complete the form below and a member of reception will get back to you within 2 working days.
Get help for any health problem
You can also:
- phone us on 01603 488477 Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 6PM
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
Our appointment system allows a number of pre-booked appointments with the doctors, but also allows appointments to be given on a same day basis. A doctor or nurse will ensure you receive the appropriate care and will also assess your request
Although we endeavour to allocate the doctor of your choice, this is not always possible due to the number of appointments we have available.
Urgent appointments
To request an urgent appointment for the same day or tomorrow (Monday to Friday) during opening times:
- phone us on 01603 488477
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with to ensure that you get support by the most appropriate person.
Enhanced access
Additional appointments are available weekdays and during evenings Monday to Saturday. These appointments are telephone calls or face to face and can also be offered for you to attend another local surgery.
Please ask the practice for more information.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
Appointments by phone, can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
Unfortunately, a lot of our appointment time is lost due to missed appointments. Please make sure you let us know if you can no longer attend.
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- use the GP online system: SystmOnline
- phone us on 01603 488477 during opening times
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
If you are housebound or too unwell to get to the surgery, we will assist in organising a home visit.
The clinician will call you first to find out what help you need. Please be prepared to give a brief description of the problem. Although you have requested a visit, one of the doctors may phone you to see if telephone advice is appropriate.
If you are expecting a visit, please ensure your house name or number is clearly visible and that you have ensured access is possible.
Should you improve and feel able to attend surgery following your visit request, please contact us to request an appointment at the surgery instead.
