Our appointment system allows a number of pre-booked appointments with the doctors, but also allows appointments to be given on a same day basis.
- A doctor or nurse will ensure you receive the appropriate care and will also assess your request
Although we endeavour to allocate the doctor of your choice, this is not always possible due to the number of appointments we have available.

To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday) during opening times:

Phone appointments
The doctors also conduct telephone consultation appointments. Please request one if your problem can be dealt with over the phone.
Appointments with a doctor are usually 10 minutes long and therefore designed to deal with one problem.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home visits
If you are too ill to come to the surgery and/or feel that you need to be seen at home, please contact the surgery before 10am if possible.
We are always better equipped to treat patients at the surgery rather than at home.
Please be prepared to give a brief description of the problem. This helps the doctors to plan their visits efficiently, before leaving the surgery. Although you have requested a visit, one of the doctors may phone you to see if telephone advice is appropriate.
Children can usually be seen more quickly if they are brought to the surgery and will be fitted in, if possible, as quickly as possible.
If you are expecting a visit, please ensure your house name or number is clearly visible and that you have ensured access is possible.
Should you improve and feel able to attend surgery following your visit request, please contact us to request an appointment at the surgery instead.
