The practice is part of PCRN (Primary Care Research Network) and from time to time is involved in research. This means that:

• The practice has been accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners to carry out such research.
• The practice is registered with the Data Protection Commissioner under the Data Protection Act for research purposes.
• Patients will on occasions be contacted by the practice and invited to take part in research projects, full details will be supplied and patients will be offered the option to be opt out.
